What level of ballet do you have to be in to start pointe?

i'd eventually like to get into pointe shoes

What level of ballet do you have to be in to start pointe?performing shows

Normally 4. It differs, depending on your individual talent. The most important thing is your age, at least 11. If you start before that you risk serious injury and harm to your bones. You have to have be strong and have at least 3 years of previous ballet. Your teacher will tell you when you get to pointe, you don't get to decide that yourself. When you do get on pointe and get your shoes, make sure they are professionally fitted.

What level of ballet do you have to be in to start pointe?say yes opera theater

I think 4 or 5 I am in pointe but I can't remeber my grade sorry.
2 important issues to keep in mind - one is level of technique, second is if you are physically able. Just in terms of strength necessary I would think you must possess at least an interm/advanced level to be able to balance and move correctly so as to not injure yourself. Now some students can reach this level in a relatively short amt of time (2 or 3 yrs.). Of course, younger students tend to be able to accomplish this more easily b/c their bones are not set, tendency is to be very limber, and just nature seems to cooperate this way unfortunately. But it really depends on the individual students abilities and physical condition.

of technique
Don't go on pointe until your teacher wants you to try a pointe class and don't buy pointe shoes unless you have strong ankles. b/c they cost $110.00!!!!!!!
it depends on your studio, different studios or companies call it different levels. usually you are strong enough to go en pointe after 3 years of proper training... work for it cause once you get your pointe shoes its the most fun ever!!
Levels vary depending on the studio... but the average age is 12 years...but that is just an avarage...i didnt start till I was 14....it just depends on your experince (usually 5 years) and your strength ask your teacher about when you would go enpointe
