I can do a royale, but it looks really bad! I need tips on making it cleaner looking and sharper!

Don't worry, they just take practice! It helps to practice at barre, where you can use your arms to lift yourself for longer, so you can get the feel of what your feet should do. Each time you do them at barre, use your arms a little less. Good luck, and just keep practicing!

It will just take some practice.
Just remember to stay centered and use a deep plie and then jump and beat your feet really fast.
After you do that for awhile it should start to come together :]
here's a tip our teacher gives us to help them look better.
When you first jump up open the legs slightly and then beat front back. This'll make the beat much cleaner and clearer.
